Travelled by 12052 Madgaon Dadar Janashatabdi Express on 31st October. It was the one of the dirtiest train I have ever traveled with. My last experience with this train (around 4-5 years ago) was very nice, hence it was more shocking for me. There were around 3-4 cockroaches just around my seat,so god knows total how many of them were there in entire coach. Date of last pest control was 2 months ago. As Sun set later,so many other insects made their presence in that train. I am sure that if Nat Geo or Discovery channel shoot one entire episode in this train, they will find more diversity in living organisms here than any jungle.

the reason is that the train that arrived from Mumbai is given some time halt aat Madgaon and the same train returns back to Mumbai. People in their hurry board the 12051 as soon as it reaches Madgaon for the return journey thus making it practically impossible to clean

This train was running as per monsoon time-table i.e. Departure from Madgaon at 12.10,before arrival of 12051. So Railways must had got time to clean that train at Madgaon. And I dont think that so much dirtiness took place in just one Mumbai-Madgaon journey. It must be not cleaned since long time.
