While booking e ticket, i selected auto upgradation if my tkt got upgraded whether i need to pay extra amount ?

No! Upgradation is done absolutely free of cost when this service is provided by the railways!
Also suppose I purchase a ticket of 3A, move n the train and feel like travelling in 2A. Then I shall be asked to pay the diff in amount to travel in 2A.
Yes. If you want to travel in 2 AC and there is vacant place, then you have to pay the difference. But in case of auto upgrade your name will appear as upgraded passenger and then you dont need to pay extra. But if you do it on request after or before boarding the train to TTE, you have to pay extra fare.
