Memu's, DEMU, EMU, etc trainsets have faster acceleration. so it doesn't take much time to achieve 60-80 kph.
we have tracing spped on speedometer but speed was only for few seconds
if u need continuous speed, the distance has to b long too.
as the LP has to increase to a required speed n again brake down to stop at the next station.

what more do we need...??? anyways 100-105 is max speed limit in IR & MEMU's & DEMU's are capable of attaining such high speed in a matter of seconds...though never had a ride on MEMU but considering DEMU & EMU I can say one of the best ways to ride on IR :)
if a clear path is given memu can really beat any sf in speed because they have amazing acceleration ..
