NOSTALGIA (1975)
325 UP BOMBAY PUNE Passenger departing from VT at 23.25 hrs and reaching Pune at 5.35 hrs, taking 6 hours 10 mns for a distance of 192 kms. Another passenger train 323 UP left VT at 22.20 hrs reaching Pune at 4.25 hrs. Convenient overnight connections. Have a feeling that there may still be takers who wouldn't mind sleeping in the train and not wasting their day time travelling.
Stoppages were Byculla, Dadar, Kurla, Thane, Kalyan, Ambarnath, Badlapur, Neral, Karjat, Khandala, Lonavla, Talegaon, Dehu Road, Chinchwad, Dapod, Pimpri, Khadki, Sivajinagar and...

Nice info. I personally would prefer a overnight train journey which is more comfortable and cheap than a bus journey between Mumbai and Pune.
