So, finally here comes my Trip Report of the trip that I had to my native place Sawantwadi on 1/11/2013..

was finding no means to spend my time. So, I decided to sleep the whole day and so, I could not sleep at night. At 11:30pm me and my family arrived at PF#7 with all our lugguage.. Lugguage was more than number of passengers travelling.. What I could see was that whole platform was crowded by people who were waiting to board the train.
As the clock struck, 11:52pm I was able to see the train,hauled by EMD monster KJM WDP4 # 20041, by the time it would stop at the platform it was 11:55pm..
Part 1: Thane-Panvel..
After boarding the train and taking our seats, I was waiting for the train to leave Thane.. But was annoyed when a EMU local bound to Karjat overtook us from PF#5. I chose to sleep on my favourite berth the Side Lower Berth. As I was standing at the door I saw a train again overtake our train from PF#5, I did no know which train it was, but never saw a Express Train overtake Konkan Kanya at Thane being a frequent traveller of this train. As the clock struck 00:15 am the train slowly started moving and my journey had started..
As the train came on main line it slowly gathered speed and touched a speed of 97km/hr till we could reach Parsik Tunnel. In a time of 13-15 minutes our train crossed Diva Jn. 50106 which had arrived Diva late was stationery at PF#6 at Diva.. What I could see was a lot of passengers still in the train. It was because same was scheduled to leave to Madgaon that morning at 06:20 am..
After Diva train slowly gathered speed and reached a speed of 86 km/hr, which was maximum speed observed in Thane-Panvel Section..But speed above 60 km/hr was being maintained for some 2-3 minutes and train was again decelerating. Sometimes train used to travel slowly. At 00:54, the train slowed down at Panvel Outer and by the time it could arrive at PF#7 at Panvel it was 00:58..

So, the Maximum speed observed was 97 km/hr between Thane and Diva.
Train left Thane with a delay of 30 minutes..
Time Taken between Thane and Panvel was 43 minutes, for a distance of 33 km.s
So, the average speed of train in Thane -Panvel section was 46 km/hr..
Train arrived Panvel with a delay of 33 minutes..

Accordig to me CR ne pura show spoil kiya, actually when it enters Roha by 2:20am what happens is that 10112 is stopped to allow 10111 to cross it at Kolad, 11004 waits at Mangaon, 12620 crosses 10111 at Veer if matsyagandha is on time else crossing is at Karanjadi.. So, everything goes good..
If KK reaches Roha by 2:20am it works fine like this./blog/post/724382
