OMG...tejas can you help me with any mnemonic to learn the name of the station?
If you can relate Sangolli with Bhat Gangolli, perhaps you can. :)
BTW, its only the state govt who have thought about it. The matter is yet to reach the Railway ministry and the central government and they will then deliberate over the issue. My hunch is the decision will never be taken coz if they do then there will be many many other stations in India who will come up with proposals making it only touch for the Union govt.In any case all this might take several months if not years.
For all you know,the decision to rename the Bangalore airport took 4 years, I wont be surprised if this takes 8.
