Hi everybody . I have just seen the IRFCA Uploads section today (10th Dec , 2010) . It mentions about how the ASANSOL ELECTRIC LOCO SHED , brought back the First Electric Loco WAM-4 "Bidhan" to life . It was brought from NRM , New Delhi to ASN Loco Shed & it went under a major Periodic Overhead Maintenance (POH) . Now the Nehruvian Loco , which was inaugurated by Pandit Ji is back on track . Trials took place on ASN - DGR Section of ER & now the loco is fit for hauling Non AC 15 Coach Trains at a speed of 110 Kmph in this age . Cool isn't it ? Dharam ji said in "Johny Gaddar" Film , that "It's not the age but the Milage " . Indian Railways & all we Railfans should be proud of Asansol Electric Loco Shed under Eastern Railways . Thanks...
