My dream is to travel on this train from Madhira to Vijawada.
56km. and it only takes 3hrs and 50mins. I think that must be something special.

In Railway parlance it is called slack time. You find the time taken in between the previous stations. They will be ridiculously small. The time cushion between Mathira and Vijayawada is take care of possible delays in it's long journey from Jammu. Further it is not a Super Fast Train. Hence it may have to give way to other super fast trains. It will also get low priority in getting platform allocations in the junctions compared to Super fast trains. Please check arrival history of Mathira. It will certainly be one or two hours late always. Whereas departure from Vijayawada will mostly be on time. This will ensure arrival at right time at Chennai
