APDJ-SGUJ has its own importance and will always continue to be so..after conversion;it has been extremely helpful for people of the region.....
doubling of NCB-NJP will only complement the APDJ-SGUJ track as various freight trains will pass through this doubled section,so that passenger trains can ply on time.....this stretch can be used for tourism by running green tourism trains...developing fingers like sevoke-rangpo,chalsa-naxal,rajabhatkhawa-jainti(part of coochbehar state railway)will only help increse the potential of the region.....
trains can also ply on noq-ncb-apdj route.....
IF DEVELOPMENT HAPPENS FAST; THEN ALIPURDUAR-COOCHBEHAR WILL INCREASINGLY BE INTEGRATED AND DEVELOPED AS TWIN TOWNS POSSESSING NCB,NOQ,APDJ STATIONS WITH OTHER INTERCITY STATIONS AND TRAINS.
