whatever i mean to say is that IR is very slow in spreading such new and better technology like cbc, lhb, etc.
Its not slow!!
U at once cant dump the operating stock while u instantly cant change every rake into CBC!!

What's the point in providing LHB coaches to new trains (like 19301/02) when IR has a lot of old and prestigious trains?
Many reasons:
1. 1 Rake makes possible for complete run of the weekly train!!
2. LHB Rake been provided to get tested & later transferred to train its meant for!!
3. Rake been assigned to different Zone which dont have any linkage...

i think that as lhb rakes are capable to restrict loss to man and material due to any misshap, which is common on the track between new delhi bihar west bengal to assam and ahead due to naxalites and old track, lhb rakes being provided there on priority. recent ex is mahabodi exp, sapkranti exp now purshottam exp, however, no lhb for southern railway as of now.
