#History: This is one of the oldest trains running on the SBC-MYS line. It had it's RSA with Tippu and Kaveri Expresses in the old days of MG and steam. After Kaveri was extended to MAS, Tippu and Chamundi had RSA for a very long time. After the introduction of SMET ICE, Tippu started sharing rakes with Siddhaganga ICE and SMET ICE, while Chamundi Express was a standalone rake and had PF6 at SBC to herself. Kaveri (when introduced) was running opposite to Chamundi (i.e. SBC departure in the morning and MYS departure in the eve). Later it was extended to MAS.
Anirudh.. a small correction. Tippu, Chamundi and Kaveri ... all these trains were named after the conversion to BG.
One more addition.. In b/n Chamundi has RSA with SBC-HUP special express and was later withdrawn due to poor patronage
