Surprising -the waitlist from 22 on 12626 has not moved at all since yesterday!Under such panicking state how does one find relief from the predictions-confirmed?If tatkal is to b booked what shld i do-cancel present after tatkal booking?Is the procedure for refund longsome?What documents wld b reqd?What is the guarantee i'd get a seat in tatkal?Pl help.My PNR-2314008218

if you feel you should go for tatkal, u can book it but without cancelling the w/l ticket. Then, if by chance you get a confirmed tatkal ticket, please go ahead and cancel the w/l ticket.
Go far Tatkal. If you get confirmed tatkal accommodation then cancel it. If Tatkal is also wait listed, wait till any one of them advance to RAC or confirmed then cancel the other one. Make sure to cancel one of the ticket before chart preparation.
After chart preparation, you have to file a TDR and claim refund, which is slightly more complicated - note slightly - not herculean task.
