Once you get down and walk out of the station, you would have several diesel autos and or RTC buses waiting for you to take you to the Mantralayam Town and drop you off close to the temple on the banks of river TungaBhadra.

Yeah...I went there 2 months back and paid 30rs per head...bus frequency has reduced a lot and share autos are the only alternative :(
3 months back I went to mantralayam. I took Rayalaseema express from Begumpet. Train reached Mantralayam road station at 11:00 PM. As i went for the first time i thought whether transportation will be available at night 11:00. But to my surprise lot of autos are available. This is a good thing. I think based on the train timings these autos are available at night time also.
Latest Rates just 15 days back visited MALM
Share Auto - Rs 30/- per head...
