2 ways -
1. Best way is to board a local EMU.. u ‘ll reach within 30 mins max....local trains also keeps going to new delhi at regular intervals... In fact as far as I know, if u have a connecting ticket, u dont need...

** The best option available to you for hiring a auto from prepaid booth to delhi air port either for domestic or International ,the distance would be around 20 km for domestic and 25 for international fare would be around Rs 100 to 150/= and travel time would be around one hour in normal time.
** Taxi:- You could get a Taxi from the Station itself. You could either take a pre paid taxi or haggle with the taxi drivers. Might Cost around 250-300.

Wonderful. Thanks a lot for such detailed and informative replies. Although I am in Kolkata, after reading your responses, I feel like travelling from Nizamuddin to New Delhi Rly Station and the Airport.

These sort of useful detailed replies can be added to a FAQ section or admin notes. Each station can also have an admin note provision, where this can be added.

These sort of information is useful for any one who visits for the first time. A separate header " Know about this station" can be maintained which may be useful at any point of time.
