Question 1: Which is the BEST sleeping option on this train from Jaisalmer to Jaipur?

My experience with First AC says, you cannot book coupe or cabin. When you book you get confirmed seats. Seats are actually alloted on charting only.
I was once lucky to get a Coupe for us.
