If i don't get a tatkal in AC or sleeper, I am planning to travel in general as it is urgent to reach ypr on 15.12.13. I will be traveling on 14.12.13

in total i paid rs 750.rs 300 for gen ticket from bpl to ypr and 450 ws fine.
I still remember when i travelled in GS of this train from YPR-NZM in 2005, and not many ppl knew about it at that time so it was all empty, not a single standing passenger but all were seated comfortably.
Must have been tough today considering no new trains in this section, so could be tough. But still i think since this train has very limited stops, does it still gets full like KK or AP or TN.
Because NZM-BPL, no passenger traffic from AGC, GWL, BINA, so still it gets jam packed?

I too first thought of coming in gs. I even entered the front slr coach as the gs coch ws full and hcpv are there in b/w slr and other gs coaches bt it ws so crowded that i decided to get down and board sl by paying fine rather than gs nd the journey ws really comfortable as after kcg it becomes quite empty and i gt a seat 4m ngp.
