Its different at current reservation counter you can get reserved ticket on payment of full fare, Tickets will be available 1-2 hr before departure of the train...
So the departure of train is at mrng 8 am. .
So will counter be open at 6. .

Im not sure of the timings, But you can try it else you anyways will have the option of buying general ticket and getting it converted onboard through the TTE..
such counters work round d clock. if it's closed or non existent simply buy an UR tkt and ask tte before boarding. u ll hv to just pay the extra fare. no fine required
