Darjeeling Shatabdi Express
It was 23rd of this December and I had to do a really edge to edge journey by Jnaneswari, Ranchi, Shatabdi, Mayurakshi Pass., Maa Tara, NJP-HWH Shatabdi and Sealdah Rajdhani in just one day back to back.
I arrived Howrah from Nagpur/Mumbai at 3:40 am by 12101 Jnaneswari and then boarded Shatabdi very easily.

Shatabdi at Durgapur and reverse myself upto Barddhaman by Mayurakshi and from there catch Maa Tara to Bolpur, from where I had NJP-HWH Shatabdi.
Firstly Ranchi Shatabdi got 10 mins late to arrive Durgapur but that was not a problem.
I realized I am great problem when I checked that Mayurakshi is 30+ mins late! I quickly took a general ticket of Bolpur from Durgapur via Barddhaman (BWN) and boarded the first train that came, i.e ASN-BWN Memu. As Memu was about to arrive Durgapur slightly late, Maa Tara Express too was departing towards Bolpur from plat.1 of BWN. As soon I reached BWN, Dhuliyan Passenger had arrived... I somehow decided to have faith on this passenger train and boarded it as I had back-up plan too from Bolpur to Sealdah of Intercity if I missed NJP HWH Shatabdi.
There Dhuliyan passenger did a smooth run without any interuptions till Bolpur, where it arrived few mins late, still before the Arr/depart time of HWH Shatabdi.
But the Shatabdi itself got 32 mins late as seen in the clock. Food is picked up from BHP itself. so after boarding the Shatabdi, when she was nearing BWN, Lunch was served, which was good. Besides, cleanliness of toilets needs to be taken care of as it was really dirty in there. so, in short there needs to be onboard cleaning staff. Finally, the train arrived Howrah more than 32 mins late and I went Sealdah after that, to board My Sealdah Rajdhani for Delhi. There I spotted my back up train Sealdah Intercity arriving one hour late!
