PUNE WDP-4D does not go to VSG, it goes only upto LD. From LD, a single GY WDM-3A hauls it to VSG.

Actually pune locos never came to vsg with goa exp they used to proceed to ubl with the link and a GY WDG3A takes goa exp to vsg.

If 6000+hp twin alco combo can haul it why not emd ?

.ohh...i used to thought that earlier the twin pune wdm's used to carry the combine goa exp till londa and then 1 pune wdm loco goes to hubli with slip and the other loco goes to vsg with the rest.....:-|.
So in reality,the pune emd now takes the train from bsl to londa,and then two seperate wdm/g of gooty take each hubli exp and goa exp to there respective destn....:-/..

Nope earlier twin wdms used to take slip to hubli so now the emd must be taking it to hubli. GY Alco only takes vsg portion.
