1) I need to book tickets for around 70 peoples from THRISUR (TCR) to KANNUR (CAN).

the problem might be the duration of journey (around 200 kms). IR might not attach a coach.

Yes. Generally railways add extra coach if it is from starting to ending stations or major junction stations.
