There are few trains which came out as superhits where as they were not expected by us..
1) DEE-JP DD.. This train was not expected to be a super duper hit .. it is augumented permanently with DD coaches.. it runs with 13 DD coaches and even 2 ECs as well
2) CDG-ASR intercity.. It was expected to be doing moderately welll.. but it has so huge current bookings that 2 general coaches are also attached to it.. Most of pax alight at Mohali.. and i regularly go to receive my family members...

Also third one is CDG-NDLS Shatabdi.. though most of the bloggers wont agree, even this is a very good train due to last minute travellers . Another one in the list is DEE-FZR Intercity

I agree,these trains are unexpeted hits.
I think if railway should do little more planning and investigation before introducing a train then there won't be any more flop trains.
