Grievance Description : Sir As per the rules of Railway, the railway announcement should be done in three languages for all the states where official language is not Hindi, i.e.. State Language, Hindi and English. The South East Central Railway Zone Bilaspur neglects it. The stations coming under SECR Zone but outside Chhatisgarh are neglected over the announcements. Be it Nainpur Jn of MP or Gondia, Itwari of Maharashtra state both have only Hindi announcements. Marathi is the official Languauge of Maharashtra as per 8th schedule but Gondia, Itwari, Tumsar Rd, Bhandara Rd stations dont have announcement in Marathi not even English. On other hand Durg, Bilaspur, Raipur has got announcements in Chhatisgarhi dialect also along with English and Hindi. I request you to kindly look for the same, no problem if Raipur has announcement in chhatisgarhi , but Gondia should have in Marathi and English also.
