This train don't have any RSA.. So that means the complete a.c rake is kept idle from thursday night to wednesday night.. Is SCR planning some new train from secunderabad which will have rake sharing with it..?? If not,then members can provide their idea of a new train to have RSA with 12774/12773...

It will also run an independent train But slot different for Vizag dakshin. The thing will happen in SC-MTM link express for SC-MUGR link is attached after starting of SC-MUGR SF express SC-MUGR link is removed and SC-MTM is running as independent with same Slot but SC-MUGR SF express is running with different slot

As per seeing the comments,i think a sc-katra a.c weekly sf exp can be somehow done but only with very aggresive tt...i.e sc-ndls faster than sc duronto & sbc rajdhani and ndls-katra in around 10-12hr and with min of halts......
Another possible option, extend/change the terminal point to SDAH/KOAA and make it biweekly(preferably TUES nd SAT) !!! After KGP, this train can take the Bhattanagar route(the one which PURI-SDAH duronto takes) and terminate either at SDAH or KOAA with stop at DUM DUM Jn.This will benefit the passengers staying at northern suburbs of KOLKATA and provide a direct connectivity with SDAH/KOAA with VSKP,BZA and SC.
