is the thalasserry mysore route under process what happened to the survey.
It is not going to materalise. Decades and decades have passed since hearign about this route. If everything goes well and if IR goes ahead with the project it is difficult to get clearence form Enviornment Ministry because the line will be cutting right across the Western Ghats , which is now listed as one one of the endangerd area by UN. So forget about this line.
If everything goes right also, do you think that private bus lobby of malabar region will allow this line to take off, never. Introduction 6527 / 28 into a daily train was dragged so much by this lobby itself. Let us wait and see.
If the kannur airport comes there will be a rail route from thalassery to airport which will be extended till mysore. Is that true.
These are all rumours and baseless just for a few kilometers from Thalassery or Kannur who is going to built Railway line. In my view forget about Thalaserry-Mysore and Nanchangode-Nilambur Railway line.
