Poor condition of the rail-cum-road bridge. Every monsoon it shows signs of a brief age ahead but still no substantial alternate is seen to this crucial connection.

No maintenance will help much. Its an 1866 built structure of historical importance. It should rather be preserved and restricted to road traffic while they should sort the issues out with ASI regarding another bridge parallel to it whose construction has been stopped unexpectedly in the middle.
