Can we get an unreserved ticket from anywhere to anywhere in Indian railways? I mean at station which is not the boarding station

No. We can get unreserved ticket for some stations not all stations.
This is to be confirmed from UTS (Unreserved Ticketing system) counter only from which you are buying the unreserved ticket, whether the ticket is available from station.... to station .... from your counter.
