I recently traveled by this train. During booking, availability was 2 seats in 3AC from LTT to SUR. After booking (3 passengers), I got 2 confirmed & 1 directly went to PQWL-8. No RAC or even WL-1!!! Can somebody clarify this process? This WL moved up to 2 & got confirmed after charting.
This is just Pooled Quota... Once the seats in the quota from Point A to B gets exhausted they move in to total one for all PQWL between all points like B to C, X to Y, M to N etc which may subsequently gets confirmed during charting.
