Diva is best possible option along with Panvel. Platforms available here and plenty of space too for pitlines, yard etc .

Dear, we are taking about am alternate terminal for Mumbai not only for Bhiwandi.
. . . No local train connectivity.
. . . No road connectivity to Mumbai. Only via Bhiwandi.
. . . Will be huge task to construct terminal there.

but a few trains can be terrminated at KYN.....just like the way DR terminal operates....there are only a few tracks at DR and it manages around 10 trains...but there is no space available and its almost not possible to shift the goods yard...but yes DIVA and PNVL are good options...infact DIVA is better...if CR wants to have a train that has to run via CR ...for eg something like LTT-RJT exp then it too can be run from DIVA...but nothings been finalised now...every budget the plan changes..hope for the best
