Hi,
I have two tickets in 3AC train from Delhi to Haldwani (Ranikhet Express) for 14th Jan 2011, Friday. It was WL7 & WL8 at the time of booking and has just moved to WL6 & WL7 respectively. Can someone please advice whether the tickets will be confirmed? Any help is highly appreciated.

Yes. Fully Wl'ed e-tickets after chart preparation gets automatically cancelled.
Partially WL'ed tickets needs to be filed TDR along with endorsement of the TTE.
The majority of the predictions state confirmation of your ticket. As mentioned earlier you need to keep tracking that blog only. If the ticket remains in WL, it will get automatically cancelled and the refund amount will show up in your account in 3-4 working days.
yeah it will get automatically cancelled if in WL and the amount will be refunded to the account through which u have reserved

I guess the chart preparartion is done 4 hrs before the train departs. So by that time I'll come to know whether my tickets are going to get confirmed or not?

Chart preparation is 2 to 4 hours before departure of the train. So yes, you will know it by then.
