When will be the survey of Haldwani-Chorgaliya and
Haldwani-Ritha Sahib Rail Line Survey which will be taken up during 2012-13 rail budget is started or not???

Haldwani-Chorgaliya is not viable, but it can be if extended to Tanakpur, and it will also help Sidcul to come up in Chorgaliya region... so it will be laid or not will only be dicided after Tanakpur-Aishbagh is broad guage. Haldwani Reetha Sahib line will be laid after Tanakpur-Bageshwar and both will be connected at a junction near Pancheshwar. other lines proposed in Kumaon region are Kathgodam-Nainital-Chaukhutiya-Karnprayag & Ramnagar-Chaukhutiya. all these are not financially viable but only Kichha-Khatima is. so for next 10 years only two projects will be going on Kichha Khatima as it is viable & Tanakpur-Bageshwar as it is declared a national project.
I think the line will go Haldwani-Chorgaliya-Reetha Sahib.... both are not different.... if u see in the map you will get my point.
no, they are both different surveys, only one line of them will actually be laid, survey will define which is more feasible... Haldwani Chorgaliya, later to tanakpur or Haldwani Reetha Sahib, later to Pancheshwar where it will be connected with Tanakpur Bageshwar Line. i.e. Pancheshwar will be a junction. but most benificial for both public and railways and also for tourism will be Kathgodam-Nainital line for wich survey had been done many times for narrow guage in british times like Shimla Kalka railway, then after indipendence meter guage survey by North Eastern railway(before project unigauge.) and also a broad gauge survey have been done after implementation of project unigauge.
i got your point, aur sahi baat hai kgm-nainital is really needed for the area.
