It is the nearest railway station to go to Bandhavgarh National Park (35 km). Taxis and Buses are available from Station to Park. The nearest major railhead is Katni Jn, 100 km away by road and 60 km by rail.
Great sightseeing Tip. Will serve as a guideline for tips under this category.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I visited Bandhavgarh National Park in 2010. It is one the places where you have great chances for sighting a tiger. I took 6 jeep rides in 3 different routes and spotted tiger 4 times. Kanha,Ranthambore and Tadoba didn't spot any. April and May are the best months to spot animals as they come to a few waterholes left. Don't take the guaranteed elephant safari to spot tigers as they are stage set. Be sure not to wear bright colored clothes and carry a binocular.
Reason for Not to wear bright colour clothes? Binocular will be more useful in such places isnt it?
