Thats great Vinay. I live in London and I may have to come at short notice as a family member is not well so depending on the flight time it may be necessary to catch this train, so its good to know that you can buy a ticket for the day you turn up at the station.
This train leaves Virar at 4 am in morning and I doubt if ticket counter would be open at that time. If you have some known person in Mumbai, you can ask them to book a advance unreserved ticket for you.
