The agreement is a result of long-standing demands from railway employees for better healthcare access and was finalized after a survey of KIMS by a committee led by the Senior Divisional Finance Manager. The deal is seen as beneficial for railway employees working in Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bhubaneswar, and other stations, who previously faced difficulties accessing medical facilities in Jamshedpur. The agreement with KIMS is expected to significantly improve healthcare access for railway employees and their families.
