Instead of all interstate trains with destination as Bangalore outskirts, railways should try to send all long distance trains with stopover at SBC or YPR. For example, Tirunelveli/ Puducherry Chalukya Via YPR MAS UBL, MAS VSG, Vasco Velankanni, KCVL UBL, should go via YPR bypass. LTT CBE should go via KJM, TPT instead of via Hosur.
In these slots, there should be trains from SBC or YPR to Mumbai, Bijapur, Bidar, Karwar, KCVL, Mayiladuthurai, Puducherry, Trichy, Tirunelveli. Few train by SR and few others by SWR.

Daily 90 buses are running between Bangalore and Mumbai. Why not a proper SF between these cities covering the distance in 19 hours?
If 4 days a week CST NCJ and weekly CST TVC are provided stops at DBP and YNK, it will be beneficial. LTT CBE crawls between DMM and SBC, so providing stop at YNK and DBP will not increase any travel time.

So, according to you, one can start from SBC take a DEMU MEMU to Hosur and catch train to Nagercoil!!. Also get down at Hosur and take local train to sbc.
Kindly provide the timings so that all can try such a wonderful arrangement!?!
