Unnao: Yo, the Amrapali Express was about to go off the rails but the driver hit the emergency brakes and saved the day! Crazy stuff, man! 😱 #unnao Unnao district: On Wednesday, the Amrapali Express almost flipped over but somehow managed to stay on track. It seems like some goons had placed pieces of the railway track on purpose to cause an accident, but thanks to the driver being on point and hitting the emergency brakes, disaster was averted. News 18 spilled the tea and now the DR has filed a case after accepting the truth. According to reports, the incident went down near pillar 66/34 of Gangaghat Police Station around 2:45 AM. Some rowdy elements had placed rail pieces on the track to derail the Amritsar-Katihar Express, causing it to veer off course. The driver managed to stop the train with a jolt by applying the emergency brakes. He informed railway officials right away but it wasn't until News 18 exposed the truth that a case was filed in the morning. Officer Yadav said the driver's quick thinking prevented a major disaster.
