I want to book 20 tickets in 3AC class general quota for 28-Jan-2012 for train mumbai cst to kanniyakumari, with from station as pune and to station as tirupati.
It looks like there is only one 3ac coach to this train. so, i want to know what is the 3ac general quota to this train for pune station.

I am monitoring this train on daily basis. I also bookded 8 confirmed 3AC tkts from Pune to Tirupati few days back for 23-Jan-2012. But, we posponded our journey because of short of confirmed tkts.
Secondly, I think there are 72 births, out of which 20% i.e. 14 are reserved for Tatkal quota. It seems that there is 10 births quota for Pune and Mumbai seperately.
For me, it is a challange to book all these 20 tkts on 30-OCT-2011 at 8 am.

Here is the final update.
Out of 20 tkts requirement, I was able to book 14 confirmed tkts for this train 16381 - KANYAKUMARI EXP. out of 14, 8 are from Pune to Tirupati and 6 are from Mumbai to Tirupati, boarding at Pune from IRCTC site after struggling for almost 1 hour.
To know the station wise class wise quota, you need to login to IRCTC site after 12:30 AM on the 90th day (in advance). You cannot book the tkt but you can see the available tkts. Tkt booking starts at...
