Railways need to update train position, location, time, arrival, departure info, diversion or cancellation info, late arrival, late departure, if halted for long time, etc...status on internet, 139 number, IRCTC app, other train spotting apps, CORRECTLY, PROMPTLY, QUICKLY. In moving train, internet speed is poor, so status should be available quickly. ...without any ads, graphics, pictures, etc the mobile apps. Viewing Status should be fast loading on a
mobile phone.

had a very bad experience on 16-2-2019, saturday, at New Delhi Station.
12951 was delayed due to diversion of route. Msg was sent on 139 nbr
that it may arrive by 3 pm and would leave by 8 pm. Train arrived at 1530 hrs. Many passengers got msg from 139 at 1524 hrs and at 1534 hrs that it would leave ON-TIME at 1625.
(two messages received). we had to RUSH to the station to catch train. leaving my lunch half-way, luckly got ola taxi in time, and from Noida, Akshardham, we reached NDLS station in about 25 minutes, just to find that the train had just arrived and were told that it may leave at 2000 hrs. WHAT A SHAME ON RAILWAY information system...Literally we RAN to the station, did not use escalators... carried luggage of our own. me and my two relatives are sr. citizens, one is heart patient. We reported the matter to Stn. Master, ...he listened to us and asked us to lodge a complaint in suggestions book. ..we were not in mood to do so....and he said, it is system generated msg....what can i do ? AT about 1545 or at 1600 hrs msg was sent that 12952 will leave by 2000 hrs.
On internet phone nbrs of stations are shown. None of them work. telephone nbrs, mobile phones at NDLS and Nizamuddin station do not work. No one answers, of it keeps ringing. or we get message...this telephone does not EXIST. Rlys need to UPDATE this ....(only station director nbr was working but I could not get correct train status.). WE DONOT NEED BULLET TRAIN....BUT COMMUNICATIONS AT ANY TIME....ANY WHERE...AT BULLET SPEED...AND CORRECT INFO.
