Recently launched 22232 SMVB-KLBG Vande Bharat waiting at platform 1 of GTL, which arrived 10 minutes before its scheduled time (19:00-19:05). Seems like no one deboarded the train, while 3-4 people boarded it.

Guntakal is the 2nd largest town in terms of population in Anantapur District.

Guntakal Railway Station became worst after 2000's. No new trains, no pitlines, existing trains cancelling & diverting,etc.,

Guntakal has just name - Guntakal Railway Division, Guntakal Railway Junction.

దిబ్బ - Now this proverb suits to Guntakal Railway Station.

Earlier Many trains originating like Rayalaseema Express,etc.,(I know only Rayalaseema..many trains are there like Guntakal Madanapalle train,tec.,).
Before corona 12trains originating, now just 7trains originating, in this 7trains 2trains cancelled temporary. All trains are extended.

In SCR new trains means they willl get only SC,BZA,TPTY, VSKP.
Little bit NSP,MTM,KOA,DMM,Kazipet.

Special trains route means SBC to Vijayawada/Kacheguda trains are prefer via GY,KRNT, NDL. KPD,RU,BZA.

GTL no chance. 10special trains runs then 1train run via GTL, remaining other routes.

Trains to BZA from GTL no proper train. Now GTL to SC also same problem because of huge congestion.


No one take responsibility on Guntakal Railway Station😔😔😔.
