This train stops at Sompeta ,a small station in srikakulam district, also at Palasa, a small Municipality in srikakulam district. But it doesn't stop at Srikakulam Road Railway Station, which serves the District HQ city and Municipal Corporation . No leaders are interested in the provision of stop.

Our Srikakulam MP's are not interested to develop railway facilities in Srikakulam dist. There is a demand to provide a new railway line to Srikakulam but no MP's are not taken action. there is another proposal that a new railway line from srikakulam to parvathipuram
2nd proposal a new railway line from srikakulam to rajam to bobbili
But our leaders are not interest

We are from Srikakulam Andhra Pradesh. Srikakulam city is a district head quarters in Andhra Pradesh.. We are suffering that we have no Railway station. Srikakulam city had around 5 Lakhs population. Srikakulam had more educational institutions like Engineering colleges, Medical colleges, Degree Colleges, and other Junior Colleges Educational Institutions.

Srikakulam is the commercial business point and so many people daily visit for their business.
