A Railway bypass will be built on this line at Bhagalpur, Hansdiha, Dumka, and Rampupurhat. Passengers going from Godda to Bhagalpur or Basukinath won't have to wait in Hansdiha or Dumka anymore. It will cost a total of 5,000 crores to build this.
