Friends, Pls visit /blog/post/1050856 where I had a terrible case with a confirmed ticket and another one with WL 37/27. I was shocked. Ideally I should have got WL 1 - right? Why did this happen? Need views and opinions from experts please.

All curtains apparently have been removed from all 3AC coaches of trains as per directive of rail ministry due to safety reasons. Is it also being extended to Durontos and rajdhani group of trains?
Had travelled yesterday in a curtainless 3AC coach and must say it was looking like a glorified sleeper coach with a functioning AC !!!....hope 2AC and 1AC are left out of this directive.
