A visit to the Divine Temple in the southern city of Karnataka, Chikballapur.

Was a wonderful experience (rather a sudden trip with my friends) to visit the Isha Foundation's Adiyogi Shiva Temple 🙏 Pax residing in BLR, can avail this DEMU train heading towards Kolar and return by taking the MEMU train towards YPR (Train blog FmT links shared... can check it out...) once you reach Chikballapur, on normal day basis, buses are AVBL towards the temple, but since Election Day was coming up, buses were NOT_AVBL... had to take a cab...

ride towards the temple and the cost for to&fro temple trip is Rs.800/- (negotiable)... my recommendation is that better NOT go during the summer season as it's open sky and can't stay much longer... friends and I could only spend utmost 45mins since it was scorching hot...🥵🥵 better to go during the other seasons.... parking charges applicable...

Got to know this from my father, on 24.4.24 enquiry counter officials were saying 12021 Janshatabdi will depart but don't know when. This was happening repeatedly and people lost their cool. They broke the window panes. RPF had to come to the spot. This has become a daily affair for 12021/22, arrive late, depart late. Can't they just cancel one run and make it on time? And make it run very close to the schedule (if not exactly on the schedule) everyday? Oh sorry, obviously freight is the lifeline of SER, passenger trains are not at all important.
