Its a useless extention upto satara. Instead this train can go via pune-satara-miraj to pandharpur. No loco reversal. This will give good connectivity to satara to miraj and upto pandharpur from mumbai as other trains reach between satara and miraj at very odd hours. The train can depart from DR an hour before and reach pandharpur by 1130. Return it can start at 730pm. It can be routed via panvel if there is congestion on main line.
The pune-kurduwadi-pandharpur connection is available by other trains

8/10, Pro- very clean bathrooms and working as well, proper ports and no unticked passengers in AC, although after LKO you can find many in sleeper class

Con- almost every bedsheet where dirty, train gets unnecessary delayed before lko most of the time like 2-3 hrs delay you should be taken in consideration
