One aspect of the new #fare structure that probably went unnoticed by many and is shockingly surprising for short distance travellers.
Lower bar (minimum cost of any ticket) in 3A fare hiked from Rs. 252 to Rs. 402 (base value) after a hike of UPTO 60%!!!
So if you're travelling any distance less than 300 kms in 3A, you'll have to pay Rs.432 plus SF charges plus service charges.

#Telescopic #Fare and #Shortest #Distance:
We get plenty of information and guidance over here.
When we think we can plan our journey such that Telescopic fare will be granted to us we go to PRS. But when the form is rejected for 'Telescopic Fare benefit', we do not have good feeling.
Was our understanding to right?
