signal is up main line. Line adjacent compound wall is down main line - Picture 6
⏺️This freight train switched from down main line to up main line by using single crossover turnout shown in blog /blog/post/4270899 This astonished me as this is the first time I was seeing a freight train switching tracks at this location. Usually all freight trains and passenger trains coming from Hosapete side will travel on down main line. Later I realised that by-pass line towards Chikjajur is connected to up main line only which can be seen in 11th picture of blog /blog/post/4111615 So this freight train travelled to Chikjajur line via by-pass line without touching Ballari Junction station
