Madgaon end. Finally people started walking on Platforms thinking that its Mandovi Express. But sadly it was 04013/Vasco Da Gama - New Delhi AC SF Winter Special. Was shocked to see it. The day was Monday but this train doesn't passes Kankavli on Monday. It was hauled with WDG 3a #13255 of GTL which was seen by me at Dadar in 11003 Mumbai-Kankavli trip. It passed at Moderate speed and finally Announcement made of 10104. We moved towards our coach position. Finally the 'Hunk' WDP-4B #40015 with The 'King' Mandovi Express arrived Kankavli at 12:32. Lot of rush for this train. Quickly Entered and Quickly the train departed at 12:33. Was Blasting at high speed and finally we had putted on the loop line for the crossing of 12051 - Mumbai Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Exp. It crossed us and we departed. Arrived Vaibhavwadi at 12:51 and departed at 12:53. Was flying between Rajapur and Nivsar with taking stops as in TT we finally arrived Ratnagiri.

After we arrived Ratnagiri, I saw that "Konkan Ka Raja" 10103 Mandovi Exp hauled with WDP4B #40018 was silently waiting for us on PF#3 and "Konkan Ka Pride" 50105 Diva-Sawantwadi Passenger was waited on PF#1. It was a great moment...

to see the two well maintained trains of KR was standing face to face. After a halt of 10 minutes, 10103 Mandovi Exp departed towards Madgaon on 2:34pm with overtaking Diva-Sawantwadi Passenger. Soon after 2-3 minutes we also departed towards our ahead journey. Blasted after Ratnagiri and soon in 10 minutes at 2:50 pm we arrived Bhoke stn for crossing of Mangala Lakshadweep Exp. It crossed us in 4 minutes and we departed again and entered the Dark Karbude Tunnel. Was thinking to take a video of full tunnel passing but My cam MP is too high so would take lots of time. So at end i decided to take video of Last 1 minute inside Karbude Tunnel.. I was successful to take a video. Average speed recorded in Karbude Tunnel was 65km/hr. I was getting bored now. We arrived Sangameshwar at 3:25 (late by 23 mins). Departed in 2 minutes and finally arrived and stopped at Kamathe at 3:55pm. We passed 20 minutes but still no appearance of crossing and too the opposite signal was Red. First i thought it was a loco failure of our train. Then after 30 minutes i hear that a man was talking on his mobile. He was talking that problem tooked placed inside a tunnel between Kamathe and Chiplun. First i thought it would be Double Decker Rakes which may have get stucked in tunnel. Next i thought it may be 04013 - VSG-NDLS AC Spl may have face loco failure. After 45 minutes finally a WDM2 of Kurla shed overtook us and went ahead. In just 10 minutes it came back with BCNA Rakes and a dead Pune WDM3A. Finally after 65 minutes of halt we were allowed to depart from small station. Quickly we arrived Chiplun in 20 minutes at 5:20. Amritsar - Kochuveli SF was also made to wait at Chiplun for some 30 minutes. It was hauled with WDM3D #11470 of Kalyan and a dead WDM3A #14558 of Kalyan

we sawed WDG3a #13618 hauled with the "Raja Ki Rani",Dadar Sawantwadi Rajya Rani Express. We Quickly walked towards PF#6 of Dadar. Walking from Platform i sawed that The Rake of Dadar Tirunelveli Superfast Exp had parked on other side of PF#7.All the Unreserved coached were full. We entered our coach and had putted all the luggage on Upper Berth. Our coach was POHed. As i was roaming on PF#6, Clock striked 23:45 but there was no appearance of Madgaon - Dadar Jan Shatabdi. After 5 minutes i entered my coach and announcement made. "Kripaya Dhyan Dijiye, 11003 Dn Dadar Sawantwadi Rajya Rani Exp abhi kuch hi samay me Platform Kramank 6 se chalne ko tayaar hai". By the Time JS entered and We departed. Just after departing we faced a parallel run with Mumbai CST - RajendraNagar Patna SF Express. But at last we were made to wait for the other train to pass away. After 5 Minutes we also Departed. We were blasting till Kurla and was slowed down at Vidyavihar for Track change. We were shifted on 5th Line(LTT-TNA). Line Clearance till Thane and had to closed the windows now. Arrived Thane at 00:15. I went on Upper Berth to sleep. Slept and finally i was waked up before Panvel bcoz a man was fighting with travellers. Oh!!!! It was TC who was having a cold war with People in coach. Train arrived Panvel at 01:17 and departed by 01:20. Again slept after Departing Panvel and had awaken again at Roha. We reached exactly at 3:20 am. Here we had crossed Queen of Konkan i.e Konkan Kanya Exp. Again Departed and i again slept and waked up at Panvel. Went to wash my face. Beside the Basin, the Door was open. I peeped outside and sawed that ahead everywhere was fog and train had arrived Sangameshwar. Time was 6:40 am. We were on PF#2 as Ratnagiri Dadar Passenger was on PF#1. We Departed at 6:45am. I was feeling Happy as train was giving on-time Performance. Finally arrived Ratnagiri at 7:20 am(15 minutes Early). Felt in thinking that why we call it as Crawler, It was at its best throughout. Mangala Lakshadweep Express arrived on PF#2 and finally we departed Ratnagiri at 7:35 am(5 minutes early)

After Leaving Ratnagiri we were gaining speed slowly slowly. Started Blasting through curve after Ratnagiri. And the Bridges between Tunnel zone started. Inside every tunnel and bridge, train was crusing at 85-90. Finally i thought to take a video of a bridge. I started the video and was lucky as the video taken was of Panval Nadi Viaduct, Tallest than Qutub Minar and KR's Marval. After passing the bridge we quickly entered Tike Tunnel. Passed Nivsar at High speed on curves. Arrived Adavali. Hear we were made to wait for only 5-6 minutes for crossing of Coimbatore-Bikaner AC superfast. Departed quickly and arrived Vilavade. line. Departed quickly. Arrived Vaibhavwadi. Ok now the sun is little rise up so cold was less now. Departed Vaibhavwadi at 9:08 and arrived Nandgaon for crossing at 9:20. Waited hear for 20 minutes and finally 50106-Sawantwadi Diva Passenger arrived with WDM3D of Erode shed. Departed quickly and finally arrived Kankavli at 9:58, 20 minutes late. Went outside Kankavli station. At opposite of station, went at a hotel name ShriSai Palace to have morning Breakfast.........

We left our home and arrived Bhandup. As i was walking on Platform #1, Train 17032 - Hyderabad - Mumbai Express passed Bhandup from PF #4. Then while waiting for the local, Chennai - Mumbai Express passed Bhandup with SRK shtyle looking loco WDM-3a :P . After MAS Exp crossed, the Ambernath Local arrived which was fully packed. We got down at Thane at 13:05. As we were walking from FOB, the announcement made " Kripaya laksha dya, 01039 dn Mumbai - Pernem Ganpati special aata thodya velat PF kramank 7 var apekshit aahe. When i reached my coach, Varanasi - Mumbai Mahanagri Express arrived on PF #6. Till it depart Thane, a lone WCAM-3 #21970 passed from PF#7. As i was taking pics of WCAM-3, i sawed our Great Konkan Railway Fan and die hard fan of Konkan Kanya Exp, Joshua Mendonca. This was my first meet with an member of IRI. We had a great talk. As we were talking, train #17031 passed Thane PF#5 with WDM 3a Kalyan in full throtle. So my train arrived. This was the time when i have to sat Good Bye to Joshua. Train arrived with WDG-3a Kalyan shed. Coaches of the train had their own Life Insaurance :P . LIC ad was posted on the coaches of the train. As i Entered the train, i was shocked to see that train was fully empty. I kept my bag and got down again. The signal turned double yellow. Now it was the time of "CHAL MERI DHANNU". Train dep TNA and had a great blast inside the Parsik Tunnel. We changed the tracks near Diva Level crossing and passed Diva stn slowly and steadily. My Dhannu curved after Diva and blasted from Dativli. After it passed Dativli, it made to wait near Nilaje. Reason was the level crossing was not clossed. So the level crossing was clossed. Train dep slowly and stopped at Nilaje. Train almost halt for 5 min at Nilaje. We crossed Ratnagiri Dadar Pass and Kerala Sampark Kranti after Nilaje. Dhannu slowed down near Panvel. It entered PF #5 as Pune Bhusaval Exp via Panvel was standing on PF#7. BCNA Rake was standing on main line at Panvel with AJJ shed WAG5a.
Arrived Panvel 20 min late
103 km/hr was highest speed recorded
