Hello Railfans ❤️ Today I am going to discuss about #Katni Grade Separator:-
#कटनी जंक्शन रेलवे स्टेशन 🚉 एक ऐसा रेलवे स्टेशन है जहा पर बीना,मानिकपुर/प्रयागराज,सिंगरौली,बिलासपुर,जबलपुर से रेलवे लाइन आती हैं। {कृपया कटनी ग्रेड सेपरेटर चित्र देखे}
मतलब कुल 6 दिशाओं से ट्रेनें आती हैं। जिससे यहां पर ट्रेनों को कई कई घंटो तक खड़ा रहना पड़ता है खासकर मालगाड़ियों को। इस समस्या से उभरने के लिए रेलवे ने यहां ग्रेड सर्परेटर बनाने की योजना शुरू की।

कोई ट्रेन जबलपुर की तरफ से आ रही हो और उसे मानिकपुर की तरफ जाना हो और उसी समय कोई ट्रेन बीना की तरफ से आ रही हो और उसे सिंगरौली की तरफ जाना हो तो इस स्थिति में किसी न किसी ट्रेन को रुकना ही पड़ेगा।
खासकर मालगाड़ियों को इस स्थिति से समस्या उत्पन्न हो रही है।और सामान को अपने गंतव्य स्थान तक पहुंचने में विलम्ब हो रहा है।
कुछ समय बाद रेलवे द्वारा यह *CHORD LINE का निर्माण किया जाता है परंतु ज्यादा लोड की वजह से अभी भी समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा था।
इसके बाद रेलवे ने यहां पर ओवरब्रिज/ग्रेड सेपरोटर बनाने की सोची।जिससे किसी भी ट्रेन को घंटो तक रुकना नहीं पड़ेगा।और वह अपने गंतव्य स्थान तक समय से पहुंच जायेगी।
इससे समय की बचत होगी और फायदा भी।

The viaduct will apparently be three times longer than the viaduct in Kerala.
Reports suggest that the bridge will benefit both goods and passenger trains and will pass over Katni Yard to connect with the Bina line. The viaduct will consist of eight rail-over bridges which be on two existing rail routes. Other than this, the viaduct will also have six other bridges which will be built over rivers.
The contract for constructing the viaduct has been given to #L&T.

Wassup Railfans ❤️ Today I'm gonna talk about Katni Grade Separator:- This is a dope railway station called Katni Junction 🚉 where railway lines from Bina, Manikpur/Prayagraj, Singrauli, Bilaspur, and Jabalpur all converge. {Check out the pic of Katni Grade Separator} So there are trains coming from a total of 6 directions. This makes trains chill here for many hours, especially the freight trains. To fix this issue, the railway started the plan to build a grade separator here. Let's say a train is coming from Jabalpur and needs to go towards Manikpur, and at the same time, another train is coming from Bina and needs to go towards Singrauli. In this situation, one of the trains will have to stop. This is causing problems especially for the freight trains, and it's taking longer for the goods to reach their destination. 👀
In a while, the railway is gonna build a *CHORD LINE here, but due to the high load, they were still facing some issues. That's when they thought of building an overbridge/grade separator here. This way no train will have to stop for hours, and they will reach their destination on time. It will save time and be beneficial. 💪
