The major reason is less turnaround time at New Delhi.same rake is used on the same date if 12625 arrives late more than 3 then 12626 is rescheduled which normally happens once a month, either
1. Extra rake needs to be provided or
2. 12625 KeralaExp needs to be rescheduled in a way that it reaches NDelhi by morning 0r

I think this should be incorporated in all premium long distance trains... like Rajdhani, Tejas Rajdhani and trains having long distances like Himsagar, Vivek, and many more...👍👍
