Yo, back in the day this train was putting in more miles with those loco flips at Yesvantpur and Erode. They used to hustle and bustle in less than 2 hours at Tirunelveli. Now, they got more time to roll and maybe even catch up if they hit SMVB later like the Pondicherry Chalukya.

Steering this bad boy to Tuticorin ain't gonna go down smooth. Folks from the boonies around here would rather hop on at Tirunelveli than Tuticorin since it's smack dab in the middle. When they stretched this bad boy to Tirunelveli, Tuticorin had 16235 and 17235 hadn't even rolled out yet.

Tuticorin may not have a ride to Mumbai as of now, but you could argue to reroute this bad boy to Tenkasi (through the shorter route) or Rameswaram, both of which don't have a direct line to Mumbai or Bangalore but have a ton of folks itching to ride.

This Chalukya express was supposed to be only for folks traveling between Mumbai and Bangalore, ya know? But then they had to go and add 3 days to Tirunelveli and 3 days to Pondicherry, which was just nuts, like seriously dumb move to please them Karnataka bus operators. The timings for this train in SR/SWR Stretch are hella bad, man.
They gotta bring in a whole new train to Thiruchendur, Tenkasi, and Tuticorin. Can't be relying on CR or messing up a train that's already messed up.
I reckon SR's NCJ CSMT gotta be running all fancy and daily via MDU SA KJM DMM GTL SUR PUNE.
Those Triweeklies gotta kick off from TN and TCN, swinging up through North TN route MDU TPJ VM KPD RU GTL SUR PUNE.
And if SR is game, they could even do a bi-weekly via SA UBL route.

Bangalore se zyada (jo Udyan aur LTT-CBE par nirbhar hai), yeh zyada interior Karnataka ke liye raasta tha Mumbai tak pahuchne ya raat mein Bangalore pahuchne ka. NW Karnataka ko baad mein UBL-DR mila, baaki section ko abhi bhi samjhauta nahi mila. Bangalore ko is route mein ek SF train chahiye jo Mumbai aur Pune dono mein suvidhajanak samay par ho.

Is route ke liye General Quota kaafi Dindigul/Madurai (jab Madurai division mein pravesh hota hai) se shuru hota hoga, jahan se train thoda-thoda khali hone lagti hai aur Tiruchendur tak vistar se yatra karne waalon ke liye ek vikalp dena chahiye jo Mumbai/Bangalore se yatra karne wale yatriyon ke khali kar diye gaye seats ka upyog kar sakte hain.
