12008 gets delayed at SBC on many occasions. Even Basava blocks 12008
Let's wait and see what schedules will SWR give to trains between SBC-MYS-SBC after doubling completes fully.
Sir, inspite of departing at 11:40 when I travelled it reached PER at 4:30 sharp!
That's not the point. One should look into the plight of passengers boarding BNCE and BWT as well in that chilly weather of SBC. Moreover, Kaveri's run should also not be disturbed by the Mail.

DanielSebastian~ 4399 blog postsIsn't it high time this train bypassed SBC and loco reversal is taken up at SMVB? Would save a huge amount of time and can be speeded up drastically. While slot is an issue in SA CBE section, an earlier arrival at CBE ensures this train's right time departure from CBE.

How about either of the following:
1. Swapping slits with Udyan. Thereby even Down Udyan will have to arrive SBC by 18:00 hrs. No change in Up direction.

But what will they do by cutting 3 hrs if SR doesn’t agree for early receive. It can very well reach Bangalore early and run as a separate train to CBE
cr will not agree as we all know whenever swr scr has proposed for a new train then cr giving no slots for these trains
Might as well do this with 3 hrs TAT at SBC. Would give SBC more quota.

MPPM~ 913 blog postsThe train badly needs a revision of its timetable. It arrives at YNK before the scheduled time, but the arrival at SBC has been delayed. It's better to terminate this train at SMVT instead of SBC, and it should reach CBE around 3 to 4 AM. Any thoughts on this?
